IG Markets review/experiences?

Hey all,

Anyone in here use IG as there broker ? I'm thinking of creating a CFD account with them as they offer a numerous amount of instruments to trade I am using the demo account they offer.

Has anyone had any experience using there live account ? Apart from the online reviews I have read I was hoping to get a discussion going about them ? Is it true as a market maker they go after your stops and widen your spreads once you start having a success rate ? (This is what I have read online, not sure if its true or not).

Also has there been any issues withdrawing your Capital from them to your bank account ?

I recently started . Good. However you have to put money first.
Order lasts for same day.
Not every scrip is available.
I traded shares not cfd however.

I have a small account with them. Yes they have one of the widest ranges of instruments so I trade some European CFDs with them. You can use a DMA platform if you want direct access without a market maker. I believe the best thing about them is you get a lot of free information. But other brokers have some better specific features depending on what you need.
