Hm.. i can trade on average once per week! I can't really trade at work so i just do a trade when i get a chance or see some good ones.

interested to know how others trade though...

The poll is a bit skewed. More like once a fortnight to once a month.

My trades are mostly FX
Stocks wise it might be 1-2 a week

I had two weeks off, and it was during August when everything went belly up.
I made 34 trades and made a total profit of $12000.
If I had have bought and hold I probably would have made $80000
Not to know the market was going to go so well.
I traded AFG 12 times in a week from $7.60 to $8.00 and made $2000
I had a broken collar bone and was bored.
It was very volatile and I was going to hold the stock long term, but when it went up a couple of hundred dollars I sold, and then rebought at the same price.
The market depth was really crazy.
Now I wish I still held.
But at the time I thought I was doing ok when everyone was losing money..
Hindsight would say when markets tank, and you think the economy is still strong, and it will recover. Buy stocks that will go with the index.
BHP, WBC, CBA, WOW
They are bullet proof stocks in a sense..
Anyone trading in normal circumstances.
