Hot Days

Temp certainly is a hot one today hit 41deg at 3.30 this afternoon which is a couple of deg above the forecast.
With 2 more 40+ pays it is going to be a bit trying.
As I have a lung infection this is not the time to be off colour.

It has been a lousy week just gone.
Started to feel crook on Saturday night last week.
Fast forward to yesterday. Off to the GP. General examination shows a lung infection.
Prescription medication to start the treatment.
This morning off to Midland for a couple of X-rays which will tell the story perhaps on Tuesday.
The two outcomes are: a) the tablets will do the job and b) if they don't off to hospital for a stint to get the lungs back into working order.
At the moment I could not pass a RBT if the cops pulled me over.
Have you had the covid vaccine? if so which ones?

Interesting times , you sound pretty fit and live in a fairly remote area, as opposed to inner city.

A bit of background info might give people a heads up.

With this being the third hot day over 40C actually it hit 44.6C this afternoon, the South Coast of WA is looking pretty good for a climate change.
Still we have these thoughts every year as the heats drags on and drains our energy.

The summer heat as unpleasant as it is, has returned today. It just hit 40C.
Tomorrow's forecast is only 28C with perhaps showers and a thunderstorm or two.

Started at the sparrow's fart today to dodge most of the heat. Finished just after midday and may have already had too many beers :p

Mrs will not be pleased when I eventually get home 😲

A pretty miserable week has been forecast for us next week with temperatures in the high 30's to 40's, and overnight minimums in the mid 20's to 30s.
Not much will be achieved outside after 9.30-10am I feel, especially if vehicle and hot work bans are put in place.

Now that the local temperature has dropped from a top of 43.5deg C to a cooling 38deg C I am thinking of meandering outside for the first time since 10am today.

Forecast to be quite warm in SA tomorrow.

Adelaide CBD forecast to reach 43 degrees.

Elsewhere in the state:
Port Augusta - 45
Wudinna - 46
Coober Pedy - 47
Marla - 48
Oodnadatta - 49

So fairly warm yes.

The CBD's in a bit of a cool spot due to the surrounding parklands so we should see ~45 across much of the suburban area.

That's hot in anyone's language.

Just starting to get used to the mid 20's when this cranked up.
