Hot Days

And so this miserable weather continues to encompass us. Hit 45 deg at 2pm.
Started early 4.30 to beat the vehicle movement ban which came in at 7am.
Stud bull is not enjoying these excessive days over 40. He has a lot of carcass to lug around. but knows where the coolest spots are.

The temp has been on about 38 now for a couple of hours. The pool has some shadows over it, so the time has come for a splash and wallow.

It has been a warm one.

  • In short: Western Australia just sweltered through its hottest summer on record.
  • It saw dozens of records broken, severe to extreme heatwaves, countless bushfires, and an ex-tropical cyclone that failed to redevelop.
  • What's next? It is hoped autumn will bring some relief, but forecasters warn it will also be hotter than normal.
The hottest day was February 18 when Carnarvon Airport soared to 49.9C, believed to be the world's hottest temperature so far this year and Australia's highest recorded temperature for the summer.

Adelaide's doing quite nicely at the moment.

39.9 in the CBD today, some suburbs into the low 40's, and forecast is down to 28 overnight and back up to 39 tomorrow.

Then 28 - 38 for Monday.

Nice and warm. :xyxthumbs

Was a very pleasant and socially acceptable 27.5 deg here today, and down to 10deg overnight. Hooray.

Would have thought that summer has returned today. Hit a top so far of 36 deg. The sun has the summer bite to it.
