FY07 return

We are in June and approaching that 1 July 2007. What are peoples return for the year?

well based on last nights close (XJO) 12 month return was 24.76% (June 1, 2006 - May 31, 2007) and this FY has returned 23.98%....

I managed to beat the above, but not by as much as I would have liked

and I think there needs to be more increments higher up, and less below 25%.... I'd say there'd be a number of people on here would have had returns in excess of 200%, and anyone who lost money would probably not really want to vote!

He would only have a tax bill if he sold. With his confidence shown in posts he must still be holding. But then again if the holdings are options then he will have to sell some to convert the rest. I guess the tax man is breathing down his neck.

due to owning shares in companies already taken over, in the progress of being taken over, or constantly rumoured to being taken over, its been a damn good year since july 1 2006. i have managed to sell all those under the above criteria, and use part of the proceeds to load up on NMS, which you all no doubt know has gone from strength to strength.

07/08 looks at being even better - and yes the tax man loves me.
