Haven’t posted for a while but thought it might be good idea to start a new thread on current capital raisings undertaken by companies on the ASX to keep everyone updated if they are looking for an entry into a particular stock. This can be anything from a small raising to a large one and be undertaken within any sector. So if you follow a company and it announces a capital raising i.e. a SPP or a rights issue let everyone know, state the size of the raising, the premium/discount the issue is at compared to the current market price and the relevant dates associated with the issue if known i.e. the record date, closing date for acceptance and payment and lastly the commencement for trading of the new securities.
This thread may also be a good location to express ideas and predictions about companies that may also be looking to approach the markets in the foreseeable future for funds. As with any prediction, some words explaining why you believe a particular company may be looking to raise capital will always be helpful.
