I'll start off with one that I loved, the first two times I heard it!

"Love your work ... !"

I'm with Sam Goldwyn, let's have some new cliches.

Tony Abbott is the master of the cliche. Heaven help us, he now has a new one to accompany the government's intention to deprive any Australian fighting in jihadist wars overseas of social security benefits, something I doubt anyone would disagree with.

He has apparently described it as "terrorist tourism"!

My pet loathing is "in any way, shape or form". Tautology.
Thankfully, "moving forward" seems to have fallen from favour.
Now, if we could just get rid of "Australian working families" which implies that only people in blue collar jobs actually do any work.

Mum and Dad investors

and on a completely different topic

Every a**hole drug pusher who gets killed in a drug deal gone wrong "was such a good boy"

at the end of the day
back on track
the fact of the matter
few and far between
a level playing field
in this day and age
to all intents and purposes
when all’s said and done
in the final analysis
come full circle
par for the course
think outside the box
avoid someone or something like the plague
in the current climate
mass exodus
at this moment in time
the path of least resistance
a baptism of fire
in any way, shape, or form
fit for purpose

a war of attrition

the final wrap up

that's the way it was

time will tell

time heals all wounds

a contest of ideas

let's have a conversation with the people

It's there in black and white

He's a colourfull character

Too good to be true

The only ones I can think of that you've omitted, Rumpole and Calliope, is

so Australian families can put food on the table

I'm so over it
