BIS - Bisalloy Steel Group

so far in my experience a stock-split is mid-term a good thing ( except for those poor MLT holders )

however one will have to watch if the big funds ( and ETFs ) move in , and start lending out shares

i hold BIS

i just hope these subs don't turn into a white elephant , surely we would be better building nuclear-powered ice-breakers ( and Antarctic capable freighters )

Not sure if it’s just me seeing things but someone is chasing the price on this today. May just be the quarterly is a better than expected read. We shall see. Topped up a week ago and looking good go forward

almost doubled my money ( unrealized gains ) since buying in February 2022

not bad for a seemingly unsexy business

let's see how the profits are , in a scenario of rising costs and skill shortages

Deal could see Australian steel used for US subma…:
... P.S. don't read the captions .... orco, joco, bizo ... AI has a long way to go

And there she blows
$3 and another ATH
Let’s see if we can get some supply here
Hi @ Als2own,

Just to keep things in perspective as far as attaining new "All Time Highs".....the ATH for this stock was $7.25 which 1st occurred on Feb. 7th 2005.

Please don't take my comment as being dis-respectful as it is not meant in that way.

Cheers,
Rob

Thanks for that. Been looking at last 10 years so was unaware. You wouldn’t know what the market cap was by any chance back then ?
Let’s hope they form a cup and handle over that time period. I’ll have to hold for a longer time period and see what happens. Been a great run this year

@rnr thanks for putting me down the rabbit hole. After many g+t’s I couldn’t help myself and went and had a more in-depth look on Friday night. The IPO was done @$1 a share and raised 71m yet the opening price on the chart was over $5. Big red flag right there. 1/2 a bottle of gin later I found what I was looking for. In 2012 there was a 5 to 1 consolidation changing all the previous data so the $7.25 top is in fact a top of $1.45.
So after all that and learning lots about the history of Bundge Industrial Steels the BIS in Bisalloy I’m confident that I can call a new all time high set again today.

Sell side looks thin again. Not much left up to $4 . Think the buyers need to push the price higher to find some supply. Holding mine tighter than ever now

Good couple of days trading after getting sold down to $3.52 . Opened on a new high and cracked $4 woohoo. Party in the house tonight
