Of course, there’s no way I’m gonna bite off my nose inspite of my face! There’s plenty the Coalition have done that I don’t agree with, but what’s that old political saying ‘as long as most of the people are happy some of the time’ Or is that the other way around?I think my own attitude is fairly typical of many voters, in that I am not entirely happy with the present government, despising some of their decisions and admiring and agreeing with others.
I wouldn’t trust the ALP either, just take a look at what they’ve brought to the table past and present.I voted Liberal at the last election. If an election were to be held tomorrow I would vote Liberal again. Why? Not necessarily because I am convinced they are all good people who have my best interests at heart, but rather because I trust the Opposition even less and believe they are even less competent.
Hawke – would you trust this adulterer and gambler who sold us our own bank?? (CBA) Since labelled nothing more than a 'populist'.
Keating – fancy a treasurer who ‘forgot’ to pay his taxes on time! I find it hilarious that the ALP is pointing fingers at the Coalition for being hard on ‘queue jumpers’ when it was their former leader who coined the phrase!
Graham Richardson – ahhh who remembers ‘cash for comments’ scandal? or the recent tax evasion problems he’s having.
Ros Kelly - who can forget the Sports Rort Affair?
Laurie Bereton – anyone recall the Botany council affair?, no, howzabout the bribery and corruption charges?? I can only imagine what a fine role model he’s been to the MP he pushed as he’s successor – Peter Garrett.
Gareth Evans – what a coup is must have been to have Cheryl Kernot defect from the Democrats, his secret lover no less, oh the self implosion and egg all over the ALP’s faces there after!
Mark Latham – do we really need to keep flogging a dead horse? Ran a council into the red and thought anger management was for pussies
Jenny Macklin – valium addict – I swear! Just watch her no show during question time.
Carmen Lawerence – Jenny Easton affair?? That serious that it screwed her leadership ambitions.
Martin Ferguson - how can you trust someone who doesn't tow the party line and thinks it's okay to tell the media we should be considering uranium as a energy alternative and we should also be selling it to the Chinese!
Trade Unions - fancy thinking they're above the party by demanding that the ALP leader (read puppet) adopt their industrial relation laws.
So stupid infact that it was used during the Downer/Costello experiment to try and topple Keating. The new "dream team" (god, how stupid is that as a label) has done nothing to change this view.
