Doesn't work like that, for me. It's a random 20 day trading month, and a no downside play. Sometimes, it becomes a cautionary tale to follow a hunch, and see it up close. There are 2500 stocks on the ASX, and the majority are speccies, I'd rarely buy one but the acquaintance and familiarity that comes with a monthly pick is instructive.but how many are willing ( and cashed up ) to nibble at their tip ??

i use it as a learning tool , testing out strategies without necessarily burning cash , the winning and losing part happens in my portfolio but sometimes my ego gets a boost or a dose of reality in the comp.Crickey who takes the monthly comp seriously.
