Yes if the wobbles keeps going in the Competition and PET (-4%) is stuck in a suspension, I might finish near the top of the ladder :roflmao:. Not that anyone finishing in the minus wins any cash.

i hope there are plenty of chairs in that cellar Iggy looks like a pack of us are coming for a wine-tasting session

Mr Divs shall I approach management to see if more classic red, clean skin, gut rot/paint stripper can be made available.
well i was saying i would like to be closer to Iggy in the com. , now i got to put my money where my mouth is

i will start actively winding down bids for ( extra ) NIC tomorrow , when the funds land in the appropriate account

by the way i prefer cognac .. you simply inhale and it goes straight to the brain ( leaving my ulcers untroubled )

Mr Divs so sorry to report that management has informed thatthe budget can only extend to gut rot red

PROTEST! PROTEST! PROTEST !

MSB against GCM for the Wooden Spoon

It is claimed that although the MSB has gone SOUTH by ONLY - 67.25%
The Penny Dreadful GCM has fallen off the edge of the known world and has joined the Titanic
at the bottom of the ocean
ie: UNDER the 0.01 cent of the known World
I ask you all
How can a Titanic Event with all hands lost at Sea not win the Wooden Spoon?

Double Rations of RUM is in order to all entrants for having the Courage to participate in these angry Seas
You don"t need to look to far to find those who unfortunately Lack the Necessary Courage when it is FREE

God only knows if they have the courage to buy anything on the ASX in Real Dollars

Salute, "Courage was Not Given to All"

but how many are willing ( and cashed up ) to nibble at their tip ??
after all you liked it enough to select it
Doesn't work like that, for me. It's a random 20 day trading month, and a no downside play. Sometimes, it becomes a cautionary tale to follow a hunch, and see it up close. There are 2500 stocks on the ASX, and the majority are speccies, I'd rarely buy one but the acquaintance and familiarity that comes with a monthly pick is instructive.

Apt lyrics for my pick last time I checked.
Perhaps the bards of Sedgehill Academy, previously Sedgehill School, (thanks Google), Status Quo, would be more apposite
Get down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Down down deeper and down
Get down deeper and down

I am reminded of that famous song by the Monkees, gurgled by the frenetic Mickey Dolenz, who if I am not mistaken also had the lead in Circus Boy. He and the remaining troupe were accompanied by Diane Hildebrand.

Thus went GCM.

Crickey who takes the monthly comp seriously. For me a great deal of fun, and if I m fortunate enough to be in the winners circle then great.

i use it as a learning tool , testing out strategies without necessarily burning cash , the winning and losing part happens in my portfolio but sometimes my ego gets a boost or a dose of reality in the comp.

however it does help you focus on a stock you are interested in that month

cheers
