ASX Out of Order

I have found the asx seems to be unavailable. (Found through Westpac and Selfwealh brokers)
Market closed error on orders.
All companies in inquiry status.
Any ideas what's going on anybody?

The ASX confirmed it was investigating a market data issue and that all trading would be paused while it worked to rectify the issue.

The ASX Trade Refresh went live this morning with migration activities occurring on Saturday.

Alert set for ANZ as it starts with A for assholes, and would trade immediately apon reopen.
Not sure it they do a staged reopen as in like a normal open?

The TAB went down last weekend. That was supposedly a data centre failure but we all know that every middle and large company in Australia is presently under attack from foreign operators. I know a competitor that was out for a nearly a week.

It's not a single switch, everything is made with redundancy, its usually catastrophic failure or hacking.

"Tech failings" is a symptom of cost cutting combined with laziness and/or incompetence.

I would bet (pun intended) that there are many vested interests that would like to harm or hinder the TAB.
The nature of the industry tells me that many individuals will have unscrupulous virtues ....
The question needs to be asked of every apparent detrimental "situation", who stands to benefit from it ?
