Yes. He probably thought, need to do something. Poor bastard. Was the Pakistani guy the security bloke? If so he went above and beyond.
At the forum I see the security guys and think " mate if I was you, I would have a 6 D cell mag light hanging off the belt".
I really think a lot of these shop security guys haven't come up against some serious muppets, it really needs addressing IMO.
But these days the amount of meths around, it is only a matter of time before most people will meet someone having a psychotic episode.
Yes. Tragic on any level, whether Pakistani, Ozzie, Inuit or a Kalahari Bushman.Yes. He probably thought, need to do something. Poor bastard.
Yes I see these young guys, obviously of Indian, Pakistani, Indonesean, Phillipino etc decent, hard working, doing crap jobs and are usually pretty small physically.Yes. He probably thought, need to do something. Poor bastard.
Not to inflame the debate, but in Texas, it would have been differentAnd little anyone can do to stop similar things happening again unfortunately.
I congratulate the cop lady, and the fact she might not be sue or charged..but the crazy dead guy was white male so it is ok.
People are pretty p155ed.Another stabbing in Sydney
"Bishop Mari Mari Emmanuel of the Assyrian Church in Australia has just been attacked by an armed assailant during a church service in Western Sydney."
Video on X but withheld for here, no details on the perp yet.
Maybe it was Ben Cohan again.People are pretty p155ed.
Not to inflame the debate, but in Texas, it would have been different, and yes I know...gun death in.
Yep, it does seem a little odd a kill shot was inflicted. At such close range, and him having only a knife, it would seem the threat could have been neutralised with a non-lethal shot. I guess without seeing footage it's hard to judge. If anyone's seen the old Kyle Rittenhouse footage, the lad was being swamped by rabid leftists and had to fatally shoot two to genuinely avoid death or at least or being beaten to a pulp - he was dragged through the courts for actual self-defence (found not guilty in the end).
Suggesting a "non lethal" shot goes against all police training procedures in such a situation. If an officer is faced with an imminent threat to life (and in this case has already happened) then the shot is taken to the torso to ensure the perp goes down.
The guy was lunging at her with the knife at close quarters. She had only one chance to stop him. She did what had to be done.
When and why Queensland police are allowed to fire a gun
Police officers turn up to work every day to protect and serve society. But, how do they balance that goal with protecting their own lives?www.abc.net.au Here's why police don't shoot to wound in the case of deadly force

I've seen guys shot with a full clip and they still run at you. A knife within 5m of you is a high % chance you will get stabbed even if you do have a gun.
Put them down and worry about clean up duty after the fact. Better them than you.
It comes down to only having one chance to get it right without putting others in further danger.Yep, it does seem a little odd a kill shot was inflicted. At such close range, and him having only a knife, it would seem the threat could have been neutralised with a non-lethal shot.
The local Iman was sorry and supportive of the injured Christian priest.Maybe it was Ben Cohan again.
Better check with 7 news and the pro Kremlin X accounts.
