1st Week and a bit of the April Monthly Tipping Competition is done and dusted and quite a few of the top achievers from last month are down near the tail of the field this month. We never know what is going to happen, do we?

I've noticed a few new names joining us in the Comp, welcome, thanks for joining in and all the best with your selections.

@kennas 34.48% holds 1st place at the end of the first week from @Dona Ferentes 32% in 2nd place then @basilio 25.45% follows up in 3rd spot keeping the pressure the top 2. Great 1 week returns .

I guess everyone else are holding their runs back for later in the month, well that's my excuse anyway!
@Parse & @Springs have got off to a bad start and will be hoping to reduce the -60% sooner rather than later.
Sorry @Springs your line is out of wack, investing.com have taken the drop in price off the day before the month started. I'll see if they will fix it but I won't hold my breath.

NWC was doing well, then the Safety Car came out and ... well, that is today's story, or, at least how I interpret it. Hope the wheels don't fall off.

Well have absolutely cleared the field and on my way to record breaking win with ARN.

Detailed careful research ( at least 15 seconds....) but far more importantly
I don't have a single share in the stock. I have discovered through long tortured experience that actually buying some shares in my picks is the most certain way to put a moz on it.

(The second best way of falling in a heap on the comp is writing this sort of crap half way through the month..)

Well done @basilio, up 60% so far for a clear lead in 1st spot, from @Dona Ferentes up 33.33% in 2nd spot, then we have a tight tussle between @kennas up 24.14% and @Muchado up 24% for 3rd spot.

The end of the 2nd full week of trading for the April Monthly Tipping Competition.

@basilio 60% jumped to the lead during the week and has held onto 1st spot from @Dona Ferentes 46.67% who had a good day on Friday to close the gap and sits in 2nd spot. @kennas 37.93% also had a good day on Friday closing the gap on the leader and sits in a nice position in 3rd spot. Some nice picks, so well done.

@Garpal Gumnut screamed through the pack on Friday which lifted a few of the entries as he went past them but I know his line on the chart (5th) is not correct as Joe has him in 14th spot. @Springs line is not correct either. I don't know why, I've sent a request off to find out why but no reply as of yet. If it doesn't agree with Joe's % return, each entry might need to check their starting price or if it traded in the last day of last month or if it was in a trading halt at the end of the month or look for any other reasons that might stuff it up. Much to do here to check all entries for reasons, sorry.

Congratulations to Muchado, Dona Ferentes and basilio for taking out the top three spots in the April 2021 stock tipping competition!

Muchado finished in first place with an enviable 74% return with ADO! In second place was Dona Ferentes, who achieved an impressive 46.67% with NWC. Rounding out the top three for April was basilio who selected ARN, which returned a solid 40%.
