After doing this I was going to say that's the last question from you for this year @PZ99 but I noticed it's actually from last year. But only just!! I'll let you off.
I thought others would be interested as well as us about some of the stats from the 2019 Monthly Comps so on I marched.
It took me a lot longer than I thought but hope that others find it interesting to review how they went as well as others.

I hope the print comes out large enough to read, I'm pretty sure all is correct but if any minor errors, my apologies in advance.

Based on returns for more than a few entries you would have to place JBocker as the best tipster, but of course the real best tipster is the one who won the most prize money.

I thought you went very well also with no real big loss against your name. Myrtie100 was very consistent with 1 bad trade (-39.29) that hurt the Avg return.

I also noticed there was 181 Wins (not losing money 0% and above) and 183 Losers, so basically 50/50 for all trades during the year.

15.65 % is a bit poor really! I almost always got up to 19-20% consistently EVERY Year. TRUE. I will show you all my school report cards to prove it!!

All said I am happy with the results this year 2 outright wins and a second with two different stocks. and having all positive tips in the annual competition. Hey I even got the Melbourne Cup winner with #23.

Peter2, about maybe keeping an eye on my selections. Let me give you this sound advice and you will be far better off.

That's exactly what I'm doing. I want to find out what species of monkey you're using to throw the darts. Chimpanzee's? No, too common. They'd get the same results as me. Proboscis monkey's? No, couldn't see past their own noses. Rhesus monkeys. possibly, they're so cute, but you'd have to give them very small darts. Never turn your backs to them or you'll get a dart in the ar$e. They love a good laugh.

There's so much to learn about share selection. Don't worry I'm keeping my eye on @greggles and @Knobby22. I'm analysing their scat as well.

15.65% for a one month hold is hardly poor. That works out at a yearly 187.8% gain. Not to shabby.

I do have a far better monkey than the average. good ole Trusty. Trusty has thwarted the underlying message behind "if you pay peanuts... "
I do confess I do chuck in a few cashews every now and then. He loves it when I go Ape. Cheeky little monkey.
Trusty has a reputation to live up to now.
