I have been reading todays story in the Age of the torture of Mamdouh Habib in Guantonomo Bay. Of the general that ran the prison that would pick different youg "boys" from the guards to be his gay lover for the week. The rape of prisoners. How he had to watch two male guards having sex. The different methods of torture used on him as he lived in a metal cage. At least some of the Hispanic guards refused to join in with the torture and one female one gave him chocolate. The USA makes me sick. What happened to your principles??
I read a great article last week from Maureen Dowd of the New York Post that showed a Muslim who got the purple cross fighting for the USA in Afghanistan. It was said to be the trigger that convinced Colin Powell to backstab the Republicans. The poor family is crying while the Republicans do their best to say the USA is not really free for any religion.
The whole world can see that the USA is being run by incompetant idiots yet one of my former countrymen Rupert Murdoch was prepared at last election to bias everything so the Republicans would allow him to own all the TV satellites above the USA against their own monopoly ruules. No politician will attack him because of fear of what he can do. Goerge Bush got in again to the worlds detriment. The rest of the world knew George Bush was a disaster. We tried to warn you but you fell for the fact that the other guy was too "French" and anyway your media would not have let you know what the rest of the world thought.
The Americans, especially the Texans continue to vote so they can bescrewed by the elite. Tax cuts for the rich huge debt for everyone else. Highest mother / baby birth deathsw in the western world - it is better in Russia. Drugs everywhere. Loan sharks everywhere. Corruption at high level. It came out that Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac paid corrupt Republican congressmen to hid the load crisis rather than do their job. A democracy that does not represent the people.
The people think they are the last hope for democracy in the world and are the centre of the world. They are not. They are a perversion diseased form of democracy. Their democracy is a sham controlled by vested corporate interests that have proven corrupt and have destroyed their country as well as hurting everyone else in the world.
Useless wars being fought to gain ocontrol of oilfields. Nasty tratment of their own people. Sarah Palin making rape victims by rape kits instead of supporting them. Producers of 95% opf the worlds pr0n. A media that won't discuss substance. A hospital system that is by far the worst in the world unless you are a multi billionaire. Cagewd suburbs to keep poor people out.
The USA has become a nasty awful country. I would like to think that you will give Barack Obama a chance to turn back into a decent country like you were in the 1960s. Why can't you spread the money around? Why can't you have nice cities with parks ect. like Europe and Australia? But I know you guys will shoot him. When you do, go and nuke yourself why your at it.
I know that there are many good Americans. They visit Australia and never leave because Australia has become the USA that was meant to be.
Once USA you were one of Australian's closest friend, sort of like our friendly grown up uncle. Today however, the country that calls itself the USA has become a force for evil in the world. You make me sick. You have become a nasty disease that has infected the world. You need your good people to clean the oozing sores. You need your media to become free again. You need to become a decent country.
