I know there is another thread about whaling, however this is a thread purely focused on brining this petition to the attention of anyone who would like to sign it.
The petition is being conducted via the Daily Telegraph website and is also supported by the Today show on Ch 9.
If you feel even slightly uneasy about whaling I urge you to put your name down. So far there are about 60,000 names to the petition but as they say, the more the merrier.
This will take you less than a minute so please click the link, put your name down and show your support, it’s as easy as that!!!
Also, feel free to post this on other forums, tell your mates, tell your parents, tell your dog.![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I am no greeny but I think this is definitely a worth while cause, no matter what the outcome will be, and I think that most Australians support this cause.![Two Cents :2twocents :2twocents](https://www.aussiestockforums.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/twocents.gif)

DON'T just wring your hands in despair - YOU can do something to help stop the Japanese killing of humpback whales in the Antarctic.
As the Japanese whaling ships head south to start their hunt, sign The Daily Telegraph's anti-whaling petition with Today to send to Japan as part of our commitment to save these gentle and magnificent creatures.
Many in Japan have no knowledge of their Government’s support of the hunt, or are unaware of the special place humpbacks have in the hearts of Australians.
Our petition, created in consultation with environmental campaigners Greenpeace, aims to show Japanese people the intensity of feeling in Australia about the annual slaughter
