This is the call to arms of Trump supporters.
He is now making public statements about refusing to accept a loss in the US election.
Obviously the Democrats condemn the statement but there are also some Republicians saying it is fundamentally undemocratic.
It remains to be seen how other Trump supporters respond.
Republican Senator and former presidential candidate Mitt Romney tweeted a thinly veiled condemnation Mr Trump's comments without naming the President.
"Fundamental to democracy is the peaceful transition of power; without that, there is Belarus," he said.
"It is clear that Donald J. Trump has no interest in seeking to 'faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States'," he tweeted. It is clear that he has no commitment to acting to 'preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States'."
