Botswana Ethnic groups: Tswana (or Setswana) 79%, Kalanga 11%,
Basarwa 3%, other, including Kgalagadi and white 7%

I suppose it helps political stability to have a dominating ethnic group.

Ghana is alot more diverse....both ethnically and religiously.

Hi Julia, It's hard to quite understand what that's like. One of my aunts flew to Australia from Canada to attend her fathers funeral. On the return her son was waiting at the airport to tell her that her husband died that morning.

More bad news from Zimbabwe.

Bob Mugagbe is to be exhumed and ole Grace fined five cows and a goat..

After presiding over a village court last week, Chief Zvimba on Monday issued a ruling that found Grace Mugabe guilty of breaking traditional norms by burying her husband in the courtyard of his home. He also fined her five cows and a goat. The former first lady did not attend the hearing.

“I give powers to those who are permitted by law to exhume the late Robert Mugabe’s remains from Kutama and rebury them at the National Heroes Acre in Harare,” said a copy of the ruling in the local Shona language.
