The people in the town where I live are majority whackjobs. I've been noticing of late that it is becoming more and more violent and full of really stupid behavior.
My friend’s son (John for stories sake) and his best mate (Troy) (18y of age) had just scrapped some money together and bought some tools to start their own little gardening business. My grandmother needed her lawn weeded and they went along and did a really good job. She offered them a beer and they turned it down as they are still on their P plates. Apparently it looked like rain, and troy mentioned how he had just bought the few tools he could afford and quickly packed them away. This was on the Friday just gone.
Saturday night Troys had a few beers in the pub and since he has had too many decides to sleep it off in the van. Some idiot has then gone and fire bombed it while he was in it. They flew him to Sydney hospital, but said that they were having a problem with golden staff up there. So he has to recover at home. So now he has no van, no tools, and burns to a good part of his body. These were both good kids that had their heads screwed on straight. What’s worse is the police, and courts are so useless down here, it’s very likely the offenders will get away.
Shame stupidity wasn’t painful.
