Has anyone read Reminiscenes of a Stock Operator? A rhetorical question right?

I liken forums such as this to like being in the "brokers office". You never know what you might overhear, and you never do know the background or qualifications of the person giving the information. There is a specific chapter in that book, BTW, which deals with this. To quote the opening passage:

"Tips! How people want tips! They crave not only to get them but to give them. There is greed involved, and vanity."

BTW, if you have not read the book it is one of, if not THE best book ever written on trading.
