I'm having intermittent server problems with market depth and portfolio.
Thankfully all seems to come good with a refresh.
(Haven't tried any buying or selling tho)

Maybe if ANZ take over they can fix this problem, More potential $$$ for them to keep all Happy

Having problems with stock quotes, market depth and portfolio...ALL account/margin loan records/balances and any info on positions held have all disappeared...

Sheesh Etrade is a dog today. Takes forever to load anything up. What would happen if say you wanted to sell or buy but couldn't because of technical problems on their end? Does a punter have any legal recourse if they lost money because they couldn't trade?

your not the only one.
I wonder if the big new flash website will actually work ..
I have already sent through the same email 4 times today complaining and I will keep doing it until some thing changes

Just got off the phone from Etrade techs. They stated they are in the middle of migrating users from the old page to the new page.

Why they would do that on a tues morning is beyond comprehensable to me. Very slack.

I'm on margin and also trade my smsf, so can't use straight through trades like you guys do. I never trade with my "own money", so they insist on phone trades. I don't have knowledge of etrade , comsec, except through phone trades and never have a problem. I note however that in the US you can do straight through trades for $7. Seems like our guys are creaming us.

I just received a message that etrade pro and power will be down today from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.

Ok.
I didn`t get anything like that.But what I did get was some stupid girl change my home page.Seeing that Etrade was slow,she actually directed me to change home page.I`m not all that technical so I followed her instructions to the letter,and then wondered why the hell it looked like Etrade was my homepage.

Can Etrade be sued? Surely today of all days they must be costing their clients plenty,not being able to see their portfolios,any lawyers that can shed some light?

After all telstra is being sued.

I actually bought 2 stocks yesterday, stopped out this morning.

Want to try and pick the selling climax this time. Nick's site has taught me allot about these buying and selling climaxes. But this time when i get back in i think i'll focus on ASX 200 stocks, as i think when the smart money comes back, they'll come back hard into these until July.

Bit off topic. I'll PM you later anyway regrading the other broker site.

Ha! I've been out this afternoon. I want to see if I should buy a St Henri, or a cask of 2 buck chuck.
