Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Holey cow, Batman! ETrade's new website is up and running and it works! Astounding!! Incredible!! Unbelievable!! Wonder if it'll make it through the trading day? :cautious:

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Its working better than before. Lets hope it remains that way.

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Still the old site for me. Is there a way I can force it to use the new site?

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

LOL. Spoke too soon. Mine's jamming up now. Classic. ANZ should be selling this turkey, not buying it out.

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Good morning.
My accounts with ETrade are fine, and have been all morning, no problems here.

The only thing not right, I would dearly like the total to be up more.....grinning here.

Best of luck.
Barry

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Well, did not last too long.
Having all sorts of problems, cannot log on, cannot navigate while able to log on.

Thanks heavens have Iress platform opened.

Instant thumbs down!!

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

They're going to have to go back to the old site again. Surely. Whoever has the contract to build this web site must have his head on a block right now.

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Been noticeably quick for me today ... I was impressed.

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

From E Trade site
https://invest.etrade.com.au/cms/viewcmsarea.aspx?key=Bulletin - 55

Open a new account before 30 June 2007 and take advantage of our extraordinary offer - receive up to $550 in free brokerage.*

There is an asterisk, so some conditions apply, assume not allowed for existing customers, we should get compensation for crap we get.

One question, should they be allowed to sign up new customers if they cannot handle existing flock?

Is it sign that existing flock is leaving in droves, and they are desperate to keep the numbers up before pending sale?

Re: Whats wrong with E-Trade this morning?

Forgot to mention, miraculously I am back in.

EDIT-
To happy to soon, back in, but cannot navigate, just managed to open trading screen and she is dead right there.

No point to say anything else as I have had my whinge already.
