What would you do for $1Million?

She was questioning MY taste... of course, I have good taste, I married her! But it seems to have soured somewhat over this whole issue... oh Julia, why did you ask the question...

:banghead:

Brad

well I wouldn't try this for a million - even if they threw in free health insurance ;) (no safety gear whatsoever).
Free-Climbing Lovers Leap
400 feet (120m) in 4m 25s = 2 seconds per meter

i,e, is the same as climbing vertically almost the height of the top of the arch of sydney harbour bridge ( 134m) at a rate of 2 secs per metre ;)
or climbing a forty storey building ditto

heck, how many could even run up the fire stair at that speed ? :2twocents

Hmm, I can see the problem. You have rather come unstuck, haven't you!
My sincere apologies for precipitating some marital discord.
I'm sure you can explain to her your momentary lapse of taste???
Good luck.

Only if we turn off the lights... everybody looks the same in the dark

That's very unkind of you, Insider. And you never know, under all that exterior, there could be a very passionate woman!

Nope... we need to keep this strictly heterosexual now...

We are talking about Madeline Albright... anyone throw a leg over for a million bucks??

Brad

Brad,
you need to get over the sexual aspect of this post,
Julia is clarly a woman so am I ,the question you are asking is it aimed just at the males who have responded thus far or a you assuming that we are all males.

We are talking about Madeline Albright... Brad
hek Brad - those ex-politicians (Madeleine, Amanda etc) are so used to faking it (by 'it' I mean anything and everything), that you'd both (or all three if applicable) would probably find it a very interesting experience, lol ;)

PS I notice she turned 70 in May lol. (let's call it a Freudian slip)
Keep this up, and we'll all be chipping in for you -
like the buck's night where the groom-to-be gets a night on Kings Cross ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madeleine_Albright

PS that's a joke lol - I can't afford to chip in for anyone - what with the price of motel rooms these days lol.

Are we still talking about John Howard ? I`m a little lost.

No, Visual. This refers to Insider's reference to a possible encounter with Amanda Vanstone.

Though I suspect if the price were right, John Howard could also be a candidate for Insider's passions as well. He may refute that.

Anyway, just a bit of silliness which is OK once in a while.

Gee, Brad, that's scraping the bottom of the barrel, isn't it?
At least Amanda has a sense of humour.

That's very immature of you Julia... :p:

For $1 Million (Aussie, U.S Or British,) I'll take the latter anywho, I would sit at home on the farm , Watchin the shares roll by, Pickin the cream of me Crop (If was still into the Smokin the Gunja) Maybe head down the shed and check the Home Brew, makin sure she's kickin along. Then head back up the homestead and cook up some Bacon and eggs with Mushies, matoes couple a snags and a hot cuppa the coffee, Then Back out to the Verandah and lie in the Hammock for couple o Hours till Lunch More of the homegrown (not smoko) but maybe a nice piece of Rump with vegies and baked tatoes then Check the Stock (Not the cattle but the ASX sort) then crack a brewie. Geez its only lunch, Betta check the cattle and do the chores to keep meself sufficient. Can't let the day get away (And this is on my Day Off) And still Dinner to come, Oh Life is tough and thats What i'd do for a MILLION in a day, a week and a lifetime ;):D

BTW, - anyone remember when "Aussie Joe Bugner" was stopped in the 8th round for some world heavyweight title or other ? (against UK Frank Bruno according to Wikipedia)- like , didn't he get several $ mill? - unfit as all hell lol - did he care ? - with a mill in the bank ? no bludy way!

PS there's a reference to Russel Crowe in last line. Doesn't sound like he's gonna go too far in the film industry .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Bugner
József (Joe) Kreul Bugner born (March 13, 1950 in Szőreg, Hungary) is a former British/Australian heavyweight boxer.
............
Within months however he returned to the ring, and in October he knocked out Richard Dunn to reclaim the British, British Commonwealth, and European championships.

....Comebacks during the '80s and '90s

Bugner returned to the ring for brief periods in the '80s and '90s, but due to the effects of age and inactivity, he was never again as effective as he had been during his prime.

In 1982, Bugner lost by technical knockout to Earnie Shavers. He also lost a decision to Joe Frazier's son Marvis Frazier two years later.

In 1986 he moved to Australia, where he acquired the name Aussie Joe Bugner[10]. In Australia, Bugner launched a moderately successful comeback, ..... In 1987 however he was stopped in the eighth round in London by Frank Bruno for the British Commonwealth championship.
.....

He won the lightly regarded 'WBF' version of the heavyweight crown in 1998, by defeating James "Bonecrusher" Smith. At the age of 49 years and a 110 days, it made him the oldest ever boxer to hold a world championship belt.[12]

[edit] Fight record
His record for 83 professional fights is 69 wins (41 on knockouts), 13 Loses and 1 Draw. He last fought in June 1999 beating Levi Billups, who was disqualified for low blows.[13]
.........

[edit] Life outside of boxing
On his move to Australia, Bugner and his wife Marlene opened a vineyard. It failed in 1989, and he estimated to having lost some one and a half million Australian dollars. [15]

He now lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

More recently Bugner has started to carve a career in the movie industry. He was the expert adviser on the recent Russell Crowe film, Cinderella Man, which was a film about the heavyweight boxer James J. Braddock.[16] Bugner was dropped part way through the project, which prompted him to call Crowe, “a gutless worm and [sic] f*****g girl” [17]
