WC8 - Wildcat Resources

Predictable price action. Be interesting to see what level the Traders start buying in again. I'd back low 30's

Wildcat last week completed the acquisition of the Tabba Tabba lithium project in WA’s Pilbara through a deal with Global Advanced Metals, which is owned by James McClements’ private equity firm, Resource Capital Funds.

Through the Tabba Tabba sale process, Global Advanced and Resource Capital now control a 17.9 per cent stake in Wildcat, plus a royalty from lithium production.

McClements is the chairman of MinRes and has served on the board since 2015.

Well done Dona on Wildcat!

I decided to take my profits on WC8 as I held BUX far too long and look what happened there. The shares went up 15 times though I bought shares some at very low prices and some much higher a long time back so I've had to be content with a profit of a miserable 560% overall. Anyway that takes my cash held back over 50% which was supposed to be my lowest target about 10 years ago so I'm back on track once more.

In selling there looks to be profits still in this for the next guy so very good fortune to those newcomers and old hands still onboard the good ship WC8. It has been great to me and my first big win for quite some years - fortunately I do get it right here and there otherwise I would have been busted many a time.
There certainly were profits still in WC8 as it doubled in price since I sold out at 31c. Another share where I abandoned ship too early. Much of the profits went into Buxton Resources at 16.5c now at 21c but not that much enthusiasm on results recently.
Lithium has plunged in price so if it recovers to the previous high WC8 could do even better - good luck.

never a dull moment...

"Chris Ellison’s Mineral Resources has snared a 19.8 per cent stake in a new lithium target with links to MinRes chairman James McClements.

"MinRes disclosed its shareholding in Wildcat Resources late on Tuesday, after The Australian Financial Review revealed ten days ago it was targeting the West Australian explorer with ground near the Wodgina lithium mine jointly owned by MinRes and Albemarle
...

. ... I tipped WC8 for the Nov comp on 22 Oct when it was 44c, ran to double thst before a bit of a pullback and closing at 70.5c

Now with it in play, will MinRes maje s full fledged offer, driving it higher, or will WC8 do a Liontown and wallow?

Do you think it might bounce back? I think the price of lithium showed some hurt across the board but it might settle up a bit higher.

It's a sad face for me...on the sideline hoping it would come back to 60cts during last few days of market sliding but didn't happen.
It's a bit strange Min Res buying it up at 85c, I suppose it's wait and see how the market reacts and what the next sample drilling looks like.

I have no idea regarding either Capitaan ..... but given your windfall on WC8 ... I believe the whole crew should be treated to a bottle of Rum each! :greedy:
Steady on barney, that could a walk the plank if the Good Cap't reads this.

Solid rebound from this "mid-sized" battler today ......

Big sell off 2 days ago after a Big Kahuna buys in at 85c

Followed by a fairly wide range rebound on decreasing (but still high) Volume. :bookworm:

Looks like the big end of town traders are well in control of this ... way out of my league, but it looks like Buying on the dips (assuming the Stock is the real deal), should be profitable?

Good luck to those who saw the potential and have reaped the rewards so far ... may the run continue. :wheniwasaboy:

How is PRS going I wonder, lol ............ My time will come ... patience my Son! :smug:
