Fund Objective

The Fund will hold or be exposed to most of the securities in the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Index allowing for individual security weightings to vary marginally from the Index from time to time. The Fund may invest in securities that have been removed from or are expected to be included in the Index. The Fund may also hold securities that are not in the Index where we identify opportunities to gain exposure to securities currently or expected to be included in the Index, where we consider that to be in the interests of unitholders.

now i held rival SLF for a while

but i preferred to 'cherry-pick ' my REITs rather than stick to index weightings as i often disagreed with the market's opinion

for instance by $value my REIT holdings look more like this

CLW ( bought primarily as a bond substitute ) ( 4th largest holding )

CMW ( this has been a real patience tester ) ( 6th largest holding )

REP * ( 10th largest holding )

HCW * ( 12th largest holding )

* those two deliberately chosen for their focus on healthcare tenants

ASK ^

ABG ^

^ deliberately chosen for the lock-up storage exposure ( i can never get my target price for NSR )

HPI ( sadly being taken over )

BWP

RFF

SGP

GPT

DXI ( i would rather be in 'generic sheds ' than data centre-focused buildings )

RGN

MGR ( 'free-carried' )

not included in the list are APE ( 'free-carried ) ( my 9th biggest holding ) where the major shareholder considers himself as a 'frustrated property developer ) , FRI and CWP ( and other companies who have bolt on property interests like BKW , FFI and PFP )
