Australian (ASX) Stock Market Forum

Vale pixel

So sad to hear this. A huge contributor to this forum who will be sadly missed.

Best wishes to family etc in this difficult time.

Plus, and I hope nobody considers it inappropriate me mentioning this here, a reminder to all - if there's even a slight possibility that what you're working with is asbestos then work on the basis that it is indeed asbestos unless proven otherwise.

Having grown up in Power Stations, from the early 1970's, I know myself and my mates from that era, live with a nagging doubt.
When it does hit, it appears to act very quickly, not that that is a plus.
Just enjoy what you have, and don't get too caught up on changing the world issues, they will be self resolving without you stressing.
It is really sad when a valued member of the forum goes, but that is the thing that makes this forum what it is, a great family despite the disagreements. IMO

Not just here, overseas was the same, regarding sptrawler and smurfs conversation.

Thanks for all your contributions, Pixel.

So sad to hear the news.

Thank you Pixel, I appreciated your work and enjoyed the view into your trading world. I valued your consistent style and application of it, great to see it in action.

Condolences to his family.
RIP Pixel

Very sad news. I felt Pixel provided sensible and balanced contributions to the forum. He will be missed.

My condolences to the family.

Sad news, Pixel & I had diametrically opposed views on investing, yet we never had any problem engaging. He was thoughtful, considerate and one of the high value contributers here. Having just lost my father in law to the same awful disease, his family and friends have my empathy and sympathy.

Shocked and saddened. Sincerest sympathy and condolences to family and friends. As a forum member, I found Pixels contributions to be well thought and objective. A valuable and much respected contributor who will be sorely missed. Vale Pixel.

My first contact with Pixel was when I posted a comment about Audio Pixels - AKP - and got rubbished because I hadn't mentioned it earlier. Well, it went from $9 to $34, then back to $9 and is currently around $23. Pixel and I had lots of conversations, should of made a lot of money because I'm a gambler, whereas Pixel was a trader. But, every conversation was civilised, I always knew that this was someone who knew what they were talking about. RIP Pixel.... I was looking forward to having a drink with you in Sydney to celebrate the success of AKP. Should happen anytime soon........

I'd like to echo pixel's stature as commented here on ASF. His posts and links are gold and gave an insight into the character of the man. Like Julia, another legend will be missed.
Vale pixel.

RIP Pixel.
We have been following up some of threads and you will be missed greatly.
As T/A said, we do not appreciate when people are living. It is ironical sad and true most of the times.
My prayers are for Pixel's departed soul.
Regards

Oh, I still miss you old friend.
Your wisdom and grace and kindness is sorely missed. Hopefully upstairs, your able to see with 100% clear vision the future we both strived to see with clarity. Your selfless gift of sharing wisdom, even with little old me and correcting, with grace, some stupid things, ideas, half baked theories and other bouncing round of ... cooky ways at looking at things was so much appreciated. My best wishes to your family and hopefully the pain is passing.

Wish you were here,
Mark K aka ... you know who I am ...

It is remiss of me to not have already posted some respectful acknowledgement for Pixel, a great contributor. Pixel like many others currently have given me so much reading pleasure. While I only knew you through what you wrote in this forum you will always have my respect. This forum is a safe haven thanks to you and many others for whom you have set a fine example.

Was away for too long and only actually learnt the news yesterday.
