Unable to find the ASF page!

Hey everyone,
I'm unable to bring the ASF page up on my laptop, which I use at home.... Right now I'm at work, using my time wisely

I can access pretty much any site except ASF. An error page comes up when I attempt to access the site, something along the lines of-
"this page cannot be displayed..."
"Server may be down"
"address may be wrong" etc.

Has anyone had a similar issue, or does anyone know how to fix?

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Pat, I am not sure what your problem is in this particular instance.

Instead of typing in www.aussiestockforums.com, perhaps just try aussiestockforums.com (without the www) and see if that helps.

Yes I have been getting that error message all day, it seems to flick on and off from the home page.

But it looks like its all fixed now...ASF screen is stable, and all links seem to work

i had this problem also, then decided to reset my the asf homepage in my favorites, and deleted all temp files and cookies also. seems to have stabilised it somewhat, but often get a flicker 3 times in a row where the page seems to reload on its own??

hope it gets sorted, its a little annoying.. anyone know what causes it?

Okay, I am not getting this problem on my PC at all.

Can anyone who is experiencing the issue described please let me know by posting in this thread and I will try and figure out what is going on.

This is obviously connected with the forum software upgrade somehow.

Cache issue perhaps?

Any computer gurus want to have a stab at it? Don't ask me, I'm the world's dumbest webmaster...

perhaps an ISP issue.

pat regarding your problem maybe try contacting your ISP and ask them why you cannot view the ASF page.

i had similar problems to others today also, upon loading the page the page would reload several times before finally stopping. very weird. i dont know joe could be cache problem.

often when you delete items in temp folder, clear history, clear cookies it can help.

agree with AgentM - deleting cookies etc - sometimes helps to scan the C drive for spyware and viruses as well

I've tried to delete cookies etc, also used links through google and tried the "no www" but no improvement there. I will contact my provider and query the ISP address.

Wait a minute.
I think what I wrote sounded... somewhat stupid
I will contact my ISP and query why I cannot view the ASF page!

I had the same problem last night on my home PC. Couldn't get the ASF page to load at all - same error as described above. Home PC has never had a problem in the past and nothing has changed. On work PC as of yesterday every time the ASF page loads it disapears momentarily as if its refreshing itself. Seems to be fine after this....

For the first time I am able to log on from my home PC!

Didn't do anything... However I was unable to connect to the net last night and this morn (at home). Tonight I have connected and wow! ASF comes up!
