Ironically, they are about to vote in a government whose underlying philosophy is state ownership of assets, including property.I think we're talking Anglo Saxons for the main part here:
– and they are likely to own their homes. Those two things tend to promote voting.
Now we get to see how the other side goes, it is far easier in opposition than in Government, time will tell.Labour landslide into perspective:
Labour’s vote share in England has *stayed the same* since the last election
Most of the Tory losses are explained by former Tory voters choosing Reform
Keir Starmer has won fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn did in 2017
“In many ways, this looks more like an election the Conservatives have lost than one Labour have won.”

They'll go exactly as the government before went... Which is to govern for the few wealthy and powerful at the expense of the masses. Now we get to see how the other side goes, it is far easier in opposition than in Government, time will tell.
Very true, but don't tell anyone. They'll go exactly as the government before went... Which is to govern for the few wealthy and powerful at the expense of the masses.
Nothing will change. Nothing will change if we get Dutton. Nothing will change if the US gets Trump (in reality Trump can't actually do much without senate and Congress). Nothing will change if Canada dumps Trudeau. These countries regardless of who is elected just play around with a few laws but do the same thing as each other.
