UK Politics

I think we're talking Anglo Saxons for the main part here:

(At 75 per cent of the UK population )
... white Britons are not just very numerous; they are also very likely to vote. The Electoral Commission estimates that 87 per cent of white people who are entitled to vote are registered, compared with 80 per cent of Asian and 72 per cent of black people.

Demography and economics explains some of the difference.

White Britons are older than average – their median age in England and Wales is 45, five years older than the population as a whole – and they are likely to own their homes. Those two things tend to promote voting.

Ironically, they are about to vote in a government whose underlying philosophy is state ownership of assets, including property.

Gullible.

Been a few of these articles

The second-largest city in the United Kingdom is in heavy debt, with childhood poverty near 50 per cent.

The UK is poorer, sicker and more unsafe. Did the Conservatives break Britain?

As recently as 17 years ago, Britons were the richest people in any of the world's large economies.

Since then, they've gone backwards, more than any other large economy.

So what was the austerity program, and how much is it to blame?

Certainly will appeal to the right leaning voters, or is that left leaning voters, who knows anymore? ;)

So the Russian invassion is because of the EU, but the left like the EU apparently, jeez it gets complicated.

From the article:
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has defended his claim that the West provoked Russia's invasion of Ukraine, using a newspaper op-ed to double down on his comments.

In a BBC interview aired on Friday, the Eurosceptic politician claimed the West was partially to blame for Russian President Vladimir Putin's decision to invade Ukraine in 2022.

Mr Farage made the comments in defence of a 2022 social media post that asserted the invasion was a "consequence of EU and NATO expansion".

"It was obvious to me that the ever-eastward expansion of NATO and the European Union was giving this man a reason to his Russian people to say, 'They're coming for us again' and to go to war," he said about the post.

Mr Farage made the comments in defence of a 2022 social media post that asserted the invasion was a "consequence of EU and NATO expansion".

"We provoked this war … he's used what we've done as an excuse."

In an op-ed published by The Telegraph on Saturday, Mr Farage reasserted his views.

"Don't blame me for telling the truth," he implored readers.

"I saw it coming a decade ago, warned that it was coming and am one of the few political figures who has been consistently right and honest about Russia's Ukraine war."

Critics, including British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Keir Starmer, disagreed.

Nigel Farage denies he's Britain's Trump - but his campaign feels the same

For Nigel Farages' Reform party reported to have 14% to 17% in the polls all news is good news. Seen to be the only party leader to point at immigration as a factor for the housing shortage and high rents.

The problem for REFORM is their vote is widespread. The Liberal Democrats are principally strong in the West of England and the Isles of Scotland. The Conservatives in the South of England and Labour in the North of England, London and making inroads in Scotland.

GAMBLEGATE and the UK Elections on July 4.

“This is an area where football actually shows politicians how to behave.” The election betting scandal has "got bigger" and crossed parties after both a Labour and a Conservative MP were found to have placed bets on elections. Times Radio's Adam Boulton says politicians have a gambling "temperament".

Labour landslide into perspective:

Labour’s vote share in England has *stayed the same* since the last election

Most of the Tory losses are explained by former Tory voters choosing Reform

Keir Starmer has won fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn did in 2017

“In many ways, this looks more like an election the Conservatives have lost than one Labour have won.”

Now we get to see how the other side goes, it is far easier in opposition than in Government, time will tell.

They'll go exactly as the government before went... Which is to govern for the few wealthy and powerful at the expense of the masses.

Nothing will change. Nothing will change if we get Dutton. Nothing will change if the US gets Trump (in reality Trump can't actually do much without senate and Congress). Nothing will change if Canada dumps Trudeau. These countries regardless of who is elected just play around with a few laws but do the same thing as each other.
