We all know it is about the odds gamble and if it's worth a play at HE1. Many professional card players work out the odds to decide whether to go ahead or throw in their hands.

With HE1 we know the present game is in and out until the first RNS probably of several. Does it take guts to play the game? Yes, it does but also foolhardiness, knowledge and just a touch of insanity.

Helium One Global shares fell to just 0.2p and peaked two days ago at 2.4p. Could the eventual rise be to 3p, 5p, 10p, 20p or more er yes. Could the shares equally fall to 0.3p, 0.2p, 0.1p or zero er yes.​

"We are delighted with the findings from Itumbula West-1 and the results from the down hole well testing have clearly confirmed the presence of a producing helium province in the Rukwa Rift Basin. The learnings from the Tai-3 well provided invaluable additional subsurface information and how the helium system works. By applying these findings, we adjusted our well location at Itumbula, and this has certainly yielded the results we were hoping for and justified that decision.

Flowing helium to surface in such high concentrations is a huge milestone for the Company and we will now fully evaluate these results and focus on advancing this project in the most effective way possible; one that will aim to achieve commerciality at the earliest opportunity.

This drilling campaign has been a huge success for both the Company and for Tanzania. I would like to thank all of those involved in bringing the project to this point of success - especially to our in-country teams and for the continued support from the Ministry of Minerals and the Mining Commission of Tanzania, as well as the local communities where we operate.

We look forward to providing further updates as we fully evaluate the results and outline how we are planning the next steps to advance the project."

Highlights

· Itumbula West-1 well has successfully completed all wireline logging and drill stem testing ("DST") operations

· The well successfully flowed a high concentration of helium to surface from Basement, at a measured concentration up to 4.7% helium

· A measured helium concentration of 4.7% equates to almost nine thousand times above background levels

· Hydrogen also flowed to surface during basement testing, at a concentration of 2.2% hydrogen, over thirty-seven thousand times above background levels

· Wireline logs, including image logs, demonstrated the location of fault and fracture zones and these were used to locate optimal well test intervals

· Downhole fluid samples have been obtained from three separate well test intervals, in the Basement and across the fault zones, all were analysed at surface in an onsite pressure-volume-temperature ("PVT") laboratory and indicated the presence of elevated helium

· Duplicate samples collected from all three well test intervals will be sent to a second laboratory for analysis

· Hot Basement fluids, measuring >80°C, encountered across the fault zone and in the Basement and are consistent with helium and hydrogen prone intervals

· Elevated temperatures consistent with a low enthalpy geothermal system

· The well is now being cased and suspended and the Company will fully evaluate the well results and focus on advancing this project in the most effective way possible

· Non-productive time ("NPT") for the Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig reduced by over 350% between Tai-3 and Itumbula West-1

· Zero Lost Time Injuries ("LTI") across the two well drilling programme of Tai-3 and Itumbula West-1

The company reported helium levels of up to 4.7% during drill stem tests in the well’s basement rock. This concentration is nearly 9,000 times above normal background levels.

Hydrogen was also found at 2.2% concentration in the basement – over 37,000 times higher than usual.

Helium One Group (AIM:HE1) the Tanzania-focused helium explorer announced a significant helium discovery of 4.7% at surface on 5th February from the Itumbula West drill in the Rukwa Rift basin, Tanzania. On 7th February the company raised £4.7 million pounds in a share placing and has been busy evaluating the mass of data recovered from the well to help management consider how best to monetise the find quickly.

HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX) CEO Bo Sears tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that the company successfully secured a drilling rig from Treasure State Drilling for its upcoming appraisal drilling campaign at the Ingomar Dome project in Montana.Sears highlighted the importance of this acquisition, as rig availability often poses significant challenges for operators.

The Cardwell KB-150 D1D drilling rig is suited for drilling to depths of more than 8,000 feet, aligning with the project's requirements.In addition, Sears discussed the expertise of the Treasure State Drilling team, led by Well Stenger, who has two decades of experience with this particular rig.

The recent partnership with contract drilling engineers Petroleum Consultants further strengthens Helix Exploration's readiness for the third quarter drilling campaign, he added.

Red Rock Resources PLC AIM: RRR remains glued to the floor, price-wise, despite continued efforts by Aussie David Lenigas a star of Twitter fame who loves to yacht in Monaco. The shares stand at 0.05p despite continued great news and Twitter's number one forward pusher of companies ( certainly not a ramper of lame ducks - how dare anyone! Indeed. )
Life moves on for Red Rock and Mr Bolitho bought 9.47% of the company for 0.045p a share ( about A$0.085c ) last week.
As they so often say, 'DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH'. I repeat, 'Do your own research'.

I can't grumble about Helium One HE1 though it is a yo-yo stock and it is my best profit maker this year. The high point was 10.5p and the low at 0.19p. It has found high-grade Helium at 4.7% - research Helium as it is expensive very deep drilling. To give an idea of why a bit of bravery, Fool Hardiness, and a touch of insanity is needed - I bought at 1.2p and the share price crashed to 0.19p, then I increased my holding 6-fold at an average of 0.23p. Fortunately, good news arrived and they struck Helium and the shares jumped to about 3.6p. I sold but too early as is usual at an average of 1.65p. So you can work out the average % profit but at the same time it points a stark warning to the unwary as it drills its first failed hole nearby much deeper and the share price is 1.26p as of posting - your call all the way.

It is only fair to give further information about the ITW-1 well that is being drilled deeper. The company has its drill which is an advantage but that means having their crew and responsibility for breakages and there was one that proved expensive. Also, CEO Lorna Blaisse is focused on success and doesn't appear to mind if cash is raised in deeply discounted UK-style Placings - the reason it is a yo-yo stock.
