This may be of use to some posters on ASF.

Do you have a need to turn spoken words into text ? Documents you can edit, file ect.? There are many transcription services around. They aren't cheap. They are not necessarily that effective.

However recently I came across a website called Turboscribe. High Quality, practically unlimited, very quick turning of voice into text.

Very competitive. Seemingly very effective.

You can use it free for up to 90 minutes of voice files a day. When you want to get serious it will cost you $10 a month (US I reckon)

Good luck.

How can you convert a video file to text?

Unless you just do the audio from that file I suppose.
