Very, very, very optimistic selection Logique.

The Bulldogs have have had a very poor year, and while Murphy has been more consistent this year than previous ones - his performances hardly suggest a Brownlow for the taking.

I'm a mad Eagles fan, but I can honestly say:
No Cox = No West Coast.

By far the most important player in the team. Ever since the Richmond game he has been playing injured (whether WCE admit it or not). Up until that game I wouldn't be surprised if he polls top 3, but after that won't have picked up anymore votes. Hopefully he can still finish top 5.

Yes cannot argue with Swan winning great player, not to take anything away from Swan its really is a medal mainly for midfielders all the same.

Have seen all the Swans games, I think you're pretty safe Gringotts, he'll start well, but K.Jack and R.O'Keefe will make you nervous tonight.

Sam Mitchell deserved more votes last year, he may do better in 2012.

He's a likeable character Josh, and respectful of the umps. I think that counts for a fair bit (aside from his foot/hand skills and ball winning capacity).

On another note, there was a guy on the news who has made over $1mill betting on the Brownlow winner. Bookies not taking any money from him any more! Says Cotchin will win. Anyone know his name?

Whom do you like FTW Logique?
 
I think Ablett will win. He had some games there with phenomenal stats. Should poll pretty consistently as always.

Come on Wombat. I picked Watson, and I also picked Mitchell in the trifecta. I only missed Kennedy who came 8th I think (which in hindsight was a bad pick by me, as Sydney is such an even team across the park - the votes were always going to be scattered).

Well done Jobe. Arguably the most deserving winner since 1996.

He had an outstanding season and has developed into not only an All-Australian centreman, but a wonderful captain. He has leadership dripping off him.

I can remember during the season after a Bombers win they were about to sing the team song in the rooms, and Jobe noticed that a small child with a disability had been brought into the huddle. He put his hand up and stopped everyone, gave the child a pat on the head, let everyone know that a child was present and asked them not to throw their drinks at the end of the song. It was only something very small but it was very touching and in an era of staged setups and spin - something that was genuine and real. A lovely gesture.

Truly one of the good guys.
