Pretty open I believe since ablett has lost a bit of form in recent weeks

opinions?

i think swan might be close.

Hes been having some big games and wasnt far off 2 years ago.Hes been better this year.I think he was 100/1 start of year.Too bad i didnt get on him.i got on cooney last year @ 101/1 start of last year which was nice:D

joel selwood is a chance, and maybe goodes, though i hope goodes doesnt win it. he is a vote catcher but has hardly had the best season of all players...

I've got judd and ablett still up there..

Leigh Montagna is the under dog but there are too many players to steal votes off him from st. kilda.

Put mine on yesterday

$20 for goodes @ $7

$20 for ablet @ $2.25 (for hedging purposes!!) seein as how hes favourtie 3rd yr in row, gotta win sometime i figure, goodes for the dark horse imo:2twocents

My bets tonight

Bernie Vince for the top 5 ($12)
St Kilda most votes ($3.25)
Ryder highest poller at Essendon ($17)

Didn't bother trying to pick a winner tonight, looks tricky. Think Riewoldt could be a chance however, I would'nt be surprised if the umpires were told quietly to look somewhere other than the midfield when giving votes.

I read some stupid article in The Age about how some of the greatest players have missed a Brownlow because they were CHF or FF. The best players generally play on the ball, and are the most valuable players to the team, and always will be. I can't believe I read that from a paid football writer. Idiot!

Ablett snr and The Duck exceptions.

Well deserved Ablett jnr.
(even from Peru)

Just been clicking through the 'red carpet' photos of the footballers and their employees on their arm.

Models with footballers.

Defines our race.

Our biology and psychology.

Pretty primative, still.

That is the way it is now - but 15 years ago and earlier it was a very different game Kennas.

Remember when people used to play in actual positions?? When the term "midfielder" only related to wogball?? When people kicked to contested packs?! When the term "flood" related to Noah and the Arc.

I can remember when Stewart Loewe took 12 marks in a game and it was considered an amazing feat. Now it happens every second week.It might be a midfielders game now, but it wasn't always so.

it isn't a bad thing though. People in the game have become smarter.

Got Judd to finish in the top 5 at $1.14. Sure thing unless he gets suspended.

Thinking Dean Cox might be good for a top 5 finish also. What's your thoughts on the big Cox?
