The Voice

I know of at least two of such cretins, white fellas hopping on the indigenous funding gravy train, sh*tstirring along the way to maximise their incomes.

It's farken disgusting in my opinion.
Trouble is wayne it is the norm rather than not.
When I had issues with the "woggle"on some wet land I was fencing, the mouth piece was a fat, over jealous, white slob trying to lord it over me.
Yes the job got stalled but only for a short time.
They need to watched and watched very carefully.

Whether it gets up or not, is out of our control, it is a majority issue.
The one great thing it has done, is bring the aboriginal issue to a head, Labor will not be able to avoid doing something about the situation regarding aboriginals as they initiated it and the coalition wont be able to say they didn't know.
The indigenous MP's will have a greater input either way, as it has become a national issue, rather than a State issue, at last. :2twocents
Whether th Indigenous MPs will have worthwhile input will remain to be seen.
And will the cityites be the beneficiaries more than the inhabitants out in the country.

The Aboriginal MPs have very little say as shown by this thread there is little regard or respect for them politics is factional anyway

The Voice is such a minor step and yet will fail, means nothing will happen.

Spent the day in Tennant Creek again it’s a world away from what is been said here

There isn't much in Tenant Creek, pretty close to the Devils Marbles, did you drop in to Newcastle Waters and Daly Waters, interesting place Daly Waters amazing airstrip.

I still reckon the voice will get up, you have to remember the majority of Australians live on the SE corner and it will be a feel good vote.
In a couple of years 75% of Australians will live in the SE corner, pretty amazing when you think they basically decide most things for the rest of Australia, with the media, the politicians, the tourists etc being centralised there.
It is bound to skew most decisions, on most issues IMO.

Recon might have to just shut the border again to remind the rest of Australia who pays the bills ??

We don't need to close the borders, the only Eastern States people who come over are either in transit to Europe or FIFO workers. ?

The best way to keep it IMO.:xyxthumbs

Enjoy your trip Ifocus, your obviously going down through the centre, great trip.

Sounds like Lisa Wilkinson is in more strife, sounds like a bit of cancel culture at channel 10, sounds to me like they are painting Price as a token aboriginal MP. ?

She is such an egregious human.

She is such an egregious human.
From what I've read she has certainly met her perfect partner, who has also made a 'dick' of himself over his LIV spray, which now has turned out in Greg Normans favour.
They are really showing how out of touch they are, which is also a poor reflection on those listeners who hang on their every word, the pitchfork crew is starting to have the wheels fall off IMO.
Those in ivory towers, telling the masses how it is done, eventually wears thin. ;)

Senator Price also accused Wilkinson of being out of touch with real issues pertaining to Indigenous Australians

'What would you expect from individuals who belong to the woke,' she said.

Ms Price said the audio clip was reminiscent of her interview with Wilkinson's husband, Peter FitzSimons, in August last year.

FitzSimons had interviewed the Country Liberal senator for the Northern Territory via telephone for a Nine newspaper article - but Price later accused him of being 'rude' and 'aggressive' towards her, which he denied.

She claimed FitzSimons had 'imposed' his view on her about the Indigenous Voice to Parliament and accused her of 'giving racists a voice'.

'The contempt he had for me in that interview, I felt like he was talking to me in a condescending manner,' she said.

'I would like to know who their black friends are.'
