Nick, I just couldn't help thinking what great benefits occurred to so many people by just this one kid showing some thoughtfulness and initiative.

Perhaps he was just doing it in order to increase his little business.
But couldn't we all just take a little time out of each day to focus on what we can do to help someone else?

Sounds soppy? Being a Pollyanna? Perhaps.
As the newspaper boy's story shows, it's possible that by helping others, you ultimately reap your own rewards.
