The economic implications of a Harris presidency

You had a deprived childhood which explains much ;)

OK let's try another thought experiment, is there, in your opinion, any examples of a true communist society?
yes some think my childhood was deprived as well

but examples of a communist society , that is where a community ( a street , suburb, town ,nation ) DECIDE to work together in a common cause whether is is flood , war , famine , thieves ( even a religious belief .. say like the Amish ) see that working together is everybody's best interest , until it becomes a governmental regime and that is where stuff goes wrong

well, whenever you involve ppl with a self interest in power or money you have an issue. its also the premise behind constitutionalism: limit of the exercise of state power.

yes , there is a saying power corrupts ( well most of the time ) and that is where most government systems hit the big speed bump

ALTHOUGH when it is in MY best interest to play nice with other members of the group ( ideally ALL of them ) self-interest is not always a bad thing

I don't think anyone knows what Harris would do except we know she wouldn't die wondering.
Maybe the USA needs someone to shake the tree.

This is why there never has been, nor will there ever will be, a pure communist state (or indeed, as you say, any type of purist state).

Even constitutionalism relies on the various institutions of the state upholding the constitution. This, as we are increasingly realising, is being challenged or ignored.

Hence the necessity of direct civic action, as has now been happening around the previously "free" world.

The buck ultimately stops with we the plebeians, if only most of us realised that.

i think Rand won't have enough party support remember what happened to his father on his presidential run

it isn't only Dems rigging ballots , bad actors on both sides have been doing it for years maybe decades

Agree. But it's a damned shame.

what a woman! Probably doesn't need any policies when her achievements are manifold.

"Redefining what power looks like has been the theme of every chapter of Kamala Harris’ political career. She is the US-born daughter of immigrants – her mother from India, her father from Jamaica. As Biden’s running mate, she became the first woman, first black American, and first South Asian American to be elected vice president.

"Before that, she was the first South Asian American and only the second black woman to serve in the US Senate. Before that, she was the first woman, black American, and South Asian American to serve as attorney general of her native California. Before that, she was the first black woman in California to be elected as a district attorney.

"When Biden underwent a colonoscopy in November 2021, Harris served as acting president, becoming the first woman (and first South Asian American) to officially wield presidential authority. If vice presidents have historically been tormented by the question of legacy – compelled to wonder not how they will be remembered but whether they will be remembered at all – Harris was assured of a mandatory nod in the history books the moment she was sworn in...

she should go back to California and luxuriate in the crime waves she helped create ( and be the first to be a victim of her own supporters )
