The completely useless irrelevant thread

When a butterfly gets in between an open casement window and the inner fly screen, it appears to be working very hard trying to get out again but doesn't seem to be able to do that. Why?

Its all to do with chos theory.
The butterfly is not interested in the window or the inner fly screen, its busy causing earthquakes.

I've only just put the air con on.

Been up since 6 am and it is just getting beyond ceiling fans providing a comfortable atmosphere in which to read, cogitate and gently fart.

plum pudding does not contain plums:

  • Historical use of the word "plum"
Before the 18th century, the word "plum" was used to refer to what is now called a raisin.

I was up not long after first light. Went for a walk then pruned the lavender of the dead buds and mowed the back. Still haven't a need for the aircon just yet. Block-out curtains closed though but it can feel very hot if standing under one of the skylights.

Whimps. When the themps get to around 40deg C then you lot can start belly-aching.

Been reading through the manuscript that Comm Bank has sent to us minnows because of the takeover of BankWest.
Plenty of words of paper but not that much substance as to what we could do if we want to keep the services that BankWest gave us.
Looks as if I will be on the phone and/or having to visit the local branch of CommBank to set up what already is in place.
Would have thought they would just transfer existing accounts over and that would be it.

Just noticing that since @mullokintyre started this Useless Thread it has reached the stunning number of 1078 posts.
Therefore, most definitely warranted. Well done Mick.
OGL would be most pleased.
