Got 1 mm yesterday and at the moment the weather system is well and truly East of us.
I can only be guided by that great PM of Australia Tony Abbott who observed that "He touched us all"
I always thought one A. Abbott was a bit of a d..k, now he has proven it.It is always great to see bilateral support. Lol
I gather Abbott did NOT say that; your link looks like a stupid parody account. The dark punchline is presumably recycled from a very real and disturbing, but unrelated, local news item from years earlier - https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...s/news-story/c2d97bbaabc5a112c5309b2c4fe7b1fe .
If you have any credible source for that "quote" from that X account, feel free to post it. Regardless, randomly pasting that whole genre of reality-blurring satire is dangerous as it can have the less discerning accept it at face value.
I'm a bit skeptical about this whole Alan Jones thing. It could be fair dinkum of course, but the left are getting more and more well known for lawfare against their adversaries. Why so serious?
The thread is "completely useless irrelevant" as is my post.
On the serious side.
As for Alan Jones the whispers had been around for a long time (Abbott would have known) note the number of allegations against Jones (never a good sign) which are still to be judged formally.
If the police have done their work (why has it taken so long?) the trial could well be difficult for Jones.

Too much hot air generated in the ACT, hence the rain can't make it down.Youse lot must be keeping the rain for yourselves you greedy so-and-so's. The last good rain in Canberra was 145mm total in Jan this year, then 61mm for April. All the rest of the months have been between 17mm to 26mm. It's as dry as around here and wouldn't take much of a spark to set it all off - again.
Mate went camping in the Brindabella Ranges. Shook out his swag and noticed a spider on it. It was a funnel web.
It was said on the TV news last night that Mr Jones (scumbag) had several friends in high places. Why so serious?

Combined effort producing nauseating retorts hence the gas. You're almost correct in one way. There are large variations between suburbs in Canberra. Microclimates. Those suburbs which are well established have tree coverage others, mainly apartments and so deserts tend to generate a big amount of reflective heat.
As to your inference, better look in the mirror. This small place elects few Federal politicians. Three out of the 151 seats in the House of Reps. You lot are responsible for the rest of them.
Exactly. The congregations of all bullshitters from right around Australia create an impenetrable dome of hot air which takes months to disperse even when they are not there. That is not to mention the gigamillions of bureaucrats which reside there who provide an inexhaustible supply.Combined effort producing nauseating retorts hence the gas.
Thank goodness for the fresh air and lack of the aforementioned where we reside.Exactly. Plenty of BS even here. Thankfully not enough to overcome Huey... yet.Thank goodness for the fresh air and lack of the aforementioned where we reside.
Fresh air, trees and a lack of hordes.
I'll take her as an offsider for fencing work!!!!!
