A really big threat is if the Republican lunatic fringe continue to build numbers in the House and Senate.
I think you fail to realise be it dems or Republican they all go for these lobbyists projects. The "lunatic fringe" is the return to listening to the people. The kids getting exposed to that fringe now, will hopefully enter politics on a "serve the people" type platform.
The worst thing we can do in Australia is keep voting mainstream politics in. Australia is on the pathway to becoming Canada.
Labor is so far terrible on top of putting oppressive legislation through.
Liberal under Dutton is just unelectable. We do not need maga here. We need to move away from woke style politics, away from populism and govern on nation building. More rules and regulations that are "feeling based"are not what's needed.

I think what people are forgetting is, Australia punches well above it's weight on the World stage due to what we were and our legacy, what we are becomming may well put us in a different weight division IMO.

The Palestinian protesters hate him seems a lot of antifa amongst their ranks.
The Jews and Jewish media has turned on the Palestinian protesters and Biden for fostering anti Jewish sentiment from the campus fallout.
The right sitting back watching,well they never liked Biden in the first place.
It takes skill to blow up in such a manner. It doesn't necessarily mean an abundance of votes for Trump. But it may push undecided voters in swing states.
I supported two terms of Trump back to back to try and tear down some institutions that need to be reigned in. I think the US is probably to far gone to matter with this term.

Yep, if Trumps wins it will primarily be amusement value, unless he goes scorched Earth, but can't see that happening.
The trend into civil war or some breakup of the US seems inevitable now.
