Day 1 of planning to exit this once great country.

We're out folks, and no, we won't let the door hit us on the @rse on the way out.

Off to Trump land?
Nope. The US is in an even worse state. Not sure where yet, but not the US or Canada.

Probably will focus more on regions than countries.

English language important but not essential, we speak a little German and I speak a little Spanish... Enough to give us a head start anyway.

Rural England appeals, but...

Much research to do.

Meanwhile Albo epitomises the purulent spirit of Peter Rachman. It will be interesting to see if the poor bastid gets stung for the deposit.

The real interesting thing will be if Albo drops a bombshell on housing, it is the only ball left in the air, that needs to be handled.
The pumping of Govt subsidies to cover the increase in power etc, has sheltered the plebs from the reality that will hit when the subsidies stop, meanwhile people are adjusting to a higher cost base for everything.
Therefore things will level out at a higher level, but the subsidies, handouts, minimum wage rises and tax breaks have allowed people to adjust.
The wild card is housing, giving the workers a 6% pay rise to help reduce the impact of a drop in purchasing power is one thing, having their rent and aspiration of buying a house blown up is completely another.
Wait for an announcement between now and the next election, housing is the Govt's Albatross and Albo knows it.

Agreed, but the LNP were in government longer and had more chances to stuff it up.

Even as late as 2022 Dutton was urging for higher immigration.

Remember business screaming for more immigration to fill underpaid remote work straight after COVID.

Still Labor are mugs for letting the numbers get so high even though mostly students / temporary.

Yes, although Shorten managed to give Turnbull a huge scare.
Yes well that wouldn't be hard would it, just tell Malcolm he wasn't allowed to take a selfie and that was the end of him.

IMO Malcolm had a huge case of Kath and Kim syndrome, "Look at Mee, Look at Mee".

Unfortunately someone else is getting a dose of it and it isn't an attractive syndrome.;)

You mean Scotty or Jim?
Scotty has been creamed, done, gone, the media will move on to the next target.

ATM Jim is playing a blinder and is better eye candy than Albo, so that is the main play, there is no obvious replacement for Dutton so no milage for the media.

Which is a shame, because if there was it would end up with Labor making much better decisions, but it is what it is and we watch on. ;)

No Albo takes the Cake in this as he has only accelerated the issue with his endless migration mess
Well he has inflated the tax take hugely, which has helped with handling the ridiculous left over covid debt, the problem is the cost burden has landed fair and square on aspirational you working Aussies.
Their dreams are screwed, hopefully something can be done to fix that, but nothing is on the horizon yet.

Sorry about this you Westerners, but handing over $50 billion in GSt adjustments to WA when WA doesn't need the money just to win seats is pretty stupid.
