Noticed though I have registered on this thread, for a good time never got the message when a new posting was done. This is the second thread I have noticed.
NO issue but if it is a technical hitch then you are losing also getting less visits to threads.

Hi there Mr Blow, can we add something to those little emoji things that say like, (smiley things, frowny things , great content etc) that signify off topic stuff?
Maybe a big red cross or something
I have been just as guilty of as others, but still think a little push occasionally would help.

Check your email address in your Account Details and if it's correct check your email junk or spam folder. If the notification emails are in there then mark those mails as "not spam".

In the post editor menu you will see the emoji icon. Click on that and scroll down a little to "Extended" and you will see it there. Just click on it to insert it into your post.

Hi macca, sorry for the delayed reply but I have been away this weekend and I am still not home. Your suggestion sounds like a reasonable one. When you say the coffee lounge do you mean the General Chat forum?

Yes that one

In a way, having the thread in an investing area does not quite sit right with me, it detracts from the seriousness of the forum as a whole.

Mostly everyone who posts in it also visits general chat and at times someone puts a bit of late mail in there and it gets lost among the serious posts.

General chat seems OK for politics, footy and racing to me and I think it would get more activity in the Chat forum

Just a suggestion
