And not to forget the brilliance of Thurston and Slater when you need to turn something into points.

They've just gotta watch out for some payback for the Bird incident in the celebrations now.

Old man Price. What a tireless workhorse!. See that last chargedown. He stopped that kicker's (Pearce?) boot with his ribs. Reminded me of Bobby Linder seeing Steve Price's face reading exhaustion and pain.
Price and Slater was a unlucky to miss out on Wal's medal. The game was a bit flat but in the last 15 minutes when NSW threw everything at us, our defense was awesome..
I bet there is a new respect for Karmichael Hunt. That kid grew an extra leg in this series. He punched well above his weight.

Poor Scotty Prince.... Didn't that guy drink milk growing up? 2 broken legs and a broken arm..

The world is right for another 10 months and 2 weeks. Bring on 2009 series.

I note that tigerboi is logged on at the moment. I guess he is speechless at the great maroons win particularly without some of it's best and in hostile territory.

thouroughly deserved win. congrats.
it might be 4 nil if nsw dont find a halves pairing that dont kick the ball away. whatever happened to using the ball, creativity, skill? bird and wallace missing made up for lockyer. wallace at 5/8 would remind me of the great cliffy lyons, creating havoc with his hands alone.
price is priceless. petero 70centsalitre is worth 150bucks a barrel.
