All the fame made him a drug addict
All the fame made him a drug addict
sez who
m8 - I took "nodoze" to get through some of MY exams -He was found with enough "prescription" drugs to put 10 people to sleep for a few days and they are all at it in Hollywood. So he was at it.
Oh please! What an asinine statement.m8 - I took "nodoze" to get through some of MY exams -
he's entitled to twice that for the sort of challenges he took on (imo)![]()
it was a quicjk comment made whilst watching the rugby wayneOh please! What an asinine statement.
I could walk into any pub in Cheltenham and find 10 people with more challenges in their lives than Heath, without even trying. If I asked a few probing questions I could find some real sob stories.
Sure, some resort to an excess chemicals to escape, but most don't, bar the odd pint at the pub or a cerapax at night... and only because of the images burnt into their memory.
Give me a break!!!
The poor bugger should get an Oscar. All the fame made him a drug addict who doctor shopped for some release. At least his talent would be recognised.

Lloyd thanked media and ABC colleagues such as Tim Palmer.
Mr Palmer said in Singapore: "Peter's been through some of the toughest experiences anyone could face: that's not just over weeks or months, but over years. He's seen more death, injury, violence and grief than many soldiers or paramedics would see in a career.
"I'm not saying that any of that has led to anything that might or might not have happened but, in understanding Peter's recent past, it's obviously a huge factor."
MEDICAL experts have revealed the cocktail of hypnotic-type drugs prescribed to Heath Ledger for anxiety and insomnia had the potential to make a sleeping person dangerously unresponsive.
This theory is now gaining growing credence in New York after police revealed they found no illegal drugs in the Manhattan apartment where Heath Ledger died yesterday, and that they are discounting suicide or foul play.
New York police have revealed six different types of prescription drugs were found in the 28-year-old Australian actor's Manhattan apartment following his death from a suspected drug overdose.
These included the anti-anxiety medications Xanax, Valium, and Ativan, the sleeping medication Lunesta and the sedative Restoril, used by people with "debilitating insomnia", according to the celebrity gossip website TMZ.com.
Other reports have suggested Ledger - the Oscar-nominated star of Brokeback Mountain which catapulted him to international fame - may also have been taking the sleeping pill Ambien, marketed in Australia as Stilnox and known to having rare but troubling side-effects.
It is unknown what quantity or types of medication the actor had ingested but, according to police sources, it is suggested he may have died from an accidental overdose.
Ric Day, a professor of pharmacology at the University of New South Wales, said all the drugs found act on the brain in a similar way, by depressing the central nervous system.

Heath Ledger died from accidental drug overdose, medical examiner says
By Seattle Times news services
.... "Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine," said the medical examiner's spokeswoman, Ellen Borakove.
"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications."
In addition to the painkiller oxycodone, the list of generic names refer to drugs more commonly known as the painkiller Vicodin, anti-anxiety medications Valium and Xanax, and the sleeping pill Restoril, while Unisom is an antihistamine commonly used as a sleeping aid.
There was no mention of alcohol or illegal drugs.
Co-stars pledge Oscar votes to Ledger
Three of Heath Ledger's co-stars in the new Batman film 'The Dark Knight' have revealed that they will vote for him to win a posthumous Oscar.
Ledger, who died of an accidental prescription drugs overdose in January of this year, plays The Joker in the film and is expected to receive significant support in the race for the Best Supporting Actor category at the Academy Awards.
Speaking at the film's premiere on Monday night, Aaron Eckhart, who plays Harvey Dent in the film, told the BBC: "I'm a member of the Academy so I can vote for him."
Michael Caine, who plays Alfred, added: "So can I."
Maggie Gyllenhaal, who plays love interest Rachel Dawes, then said: "I'm a member too - the Oscar can only go to Heath”

I wonder why the dream turned into a nightmare?
LOL!!!He was secretly dating one of those neurotic Olsen twins. Anorexics are only good (as girlfriends) until you get sucked into their psychologically twisted world. I wasn't suprised he was taking all those 'downers' when I heard about Mary-Kate. :screwy::screwy:
LOL!!!
Was that advice learnt from experiance?
Let's face it, there are ~3billion women on Earth. You don't need to pick one that you already know has a problem.
