I was hoping he was a real d***head. Then maybe DCE would stay at Manly.
dunno whether DCE would go to the Redcliffe ... reckon they would offer him more coin but he is going to the Dogs, just an assumption ...

Talk in Sydney is that he's going to be a Rooster.
@Ferret yeah could see that happening ... too - thinking maybe the roosters have more cash to spend under salary cap than Canterbury - but who would know for sure, also, to make the GF in 2026 maybe the Dogs arguably better roster and with DCE maturity to develop the Canterbury halves ... could be a better options than the Roosters.
anyway, hey yeah, sure Roosters a show for the lad's signature, if not already have it. Haven't heard Gus say he don't want DCE. Maybe he has to southern media but rcw1 hasn't heard the lad say that ... bush telegraph can be slow at times, it's the weather you know ha ha ha ha

Well well, well, beloved Cowboys put together a game over 80 minutes, down to 12 players for 10 minutes with the sin binning of Reece Robson and beat Penrith at CommBank Stadium, Sydney ...
22 points to 18.

This is what mate our games so great ....
The Roosters 26 beat the Broncos 16 at Suncorp !!! Would never have tipped that result this time round...
Anyways, the Roosters deserved their win. that they did. enjoyed the game actually. Thought the games changer was their captain, James Tedesco. Hope they don't pick him for NSW in SoO time...
Thought the young Roosters 1/2 back Hugo Savala played well and certainly done his job, great kicking game. Will be watching his game closely.
Have a very nice weekend.

I thought this would be a walk in the park for the Broncos, so I wasn't going to watch it. I had a look in half way through the first half and it held me to the end.
Roosters need to improve their discipline, but they put in far more effort that the Broncos.
As you said @rcw1, Tedesco was brilliant.
Reece Walsh was ordinary. I don't know what has happened to the kid. He seems to be trying, but doesn't have the speed he used to have and is making too many mistakes in defence.
@Ferret Yes it will be a Qld SoO quandary Walsh's performances and lack of consistency ... Billy just luvs Reece, but reckon old head, measured, Ponga .... might need to play full back this year. I think Reece simply got too big for his boots .. can play, but believed all he read about himself. Also, I think the other quality teams have worked him out and not playing to Walsh's strengths as much. In time he will grow and be a champion player, but he certainly ain't that yet...

I have just watched the Knights v Tigers game, what a rubbish game.
Tigers won easily but they were scrappy and the passing was awful. Surely if you have been playing league for 15 years you know how to pass the ball to a bloke 4 metres away.
A dummy half passing a ball head high to their teammate is rubbish coaching, they need to practice the basics or the good teams will flog them.
Knights were even worse, their coach does nothing for me, one instance of abysmal play is when there was a scrum 20m from Knights line, Tigers feed, Ponga stuck his head in the scrum as lock!
He should have been on his line shouting directions to organise their defensive line, Nope ! I will just stick my head in here and forget about it.
Deep trouble when you do stupid things like that.
Neither team will do much good unless they start paying attention to the basic skills (I did tip the winner so not sour grapes)
