So Canberra score the first points of the NRL season proper... looking to be a good game this one
 
don't like watching floggings ... Australia v England women's game was exactly that... not a good look for mine, sure rcw1 wants Australia to win, but not like that, not good for the international women's game, for mine

yes twas a bottler that one.. note the Rabbits v Dolphins games moved from Suncorp Stadium down to Rabbit country as a precaution because of Cyclone Alfred

Great Game watched it next to a Beach in Rayong.
Both in line for a top 4 spot IMO.

Women's Sport is unwatchable most times. Go On ... Cancel me.

Looking forward to the Storm Game Sunday Midday Thai time. (Too early to be pissed, But I will be)

So then young Tom Duffy gets to make his NRL debut at half back against Manly in Sydney ... Townsville born too, marvelous situation for him and his family ... Have watched him play previously in community and state leagues. Wonderful proposition. Fingers crossed his ability withstands the test in the best competition in the world.

This is the way it should happen, local talent snapped up and given opportunity with the local NRL Club. Well, done all round reckon.

Youd think the Rabbits would be the Boulter but unless they get some disciple they will be bottom half again/
Wouldn't be surprised if the broncs despite all their talent miss.
 
My eight for this year is...............

Melbourne and Penrith Stand out as grand finallists as usual

then a group of 4 being
Bulldogs, Roosters, Broncos and Manly

probably Parramatta and Warriors next

I live in the Hunter area and dread the Knights signing Brown from Parra for 10 YEARS. He does not put in often enough for me now when on short contracts.

10 year contracts mean no need to try and a LOT of salary cap tied up in 2 players.

If they sign Brown I think Ponga will leave in search of a premiership

Not wrong, I did not realise how long Walker will be out so I delete the Roosters completely and put in the Sharks for my 8

as is the Dogs v Dragons ... might blow up this one ... not for the faint hearted this game, luv it, don't like either of them teams, they can both bash each other, thinking the Dragon could have done with a Hunt for this battle

gunna hafta turn the telly off soon ... Sea Eagles scoring at will, punching holes both sides of the ruck and cannot put a foot wrong... be a rather lonely trip home for the Cowboys and hate to be at training next week...
