Rigging the USA election

Can't vote. Closed all the polling booths. Read the first post on this thread.

Dictatorships and Communists hold elections.
Only Democracies hold fair elections.
Struth, where's the democracies these days. Rigging even here too. Especially in the way they have junkie candidates to spread preferences

The best they could come up with?

Firstly, the guy running the post office is a Trump donor and is close to him. All this is happening now when the election is very close.

Secondly, they were taking away all the post boxes. Also getting rid of many of the sorting machines. They are also shortening the post offices hours so they are closed so people can't post without leaving work. This is all about slowing the mail deliberately (no overtime also) so even if you get the form (which will take days, maybe a week) there will not be time to send it off and get processed again by the post office in time to be counted. You can be sure in certain districts this will not be improved. The turn around is too short so people will be effectively stopped by voting by mail

We know they can't vote on polling day because the boss will sack them (or at least make them as the first to be sacked) and even if they do the queues will be so long that they lose a days pay anyway (and I already showed you in some districts there is one polling station for 300,000 people because they are going to close all the others to stop voting) + they might catch Covid+ if they are black they have to go through a cordon of guys in fatigues carrying guns glaring at them. Come on!

The areas who vote the Republican way will have great facilities in comparison to help that vote. They will be gerrymanded into strange shapes and will maybe have only far fewer voters so they can make more pro districts.
Tin hat stuff.

What's True
Postal Service collection boxes were removed in Oregon — as well as other states — in August 2020.

What's False
However, a Postal Service spokesperson said that at least some of these boxes were being replaced with new ones due to vandalism

In response to growing public concerns about voter suppression, including President Donald Trump's continued attacks on mail-in voting, the United States Postal Service said it will postpone its plan to remove or relocate mail collection bins.

"We are not going to be removing any boxes," Spurgeon said in a statement, according to the outlet. "After the election, we're going to take a look at operations and see what we need and don’t need."

The removal freeze applies to 16 states: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Portions of Wisconsin and Missouri are also included.

Sounds like the whole Russian collusion bs and the dozens of other bs stories that came out over the years from the demo.

Louis DeJoy: is Trump's new post office chief trying to rig the election?
Since taking office in June, DeJoy has executed sweeping changes at the struggling USPS, leading to delays in mail delivery – and fears mail-in ballots won’t arrive on time

About a month ago, a United States Postal Service (USPS) mail carrier named Mark arrived at his post office in central Pennsylvania and got some shocking news from his station manager. Mark and his coworkers were told they would have to depart the office for deliveries a few hours earlier each day, even if that meant leaving behind much of the day’s mail.

In the weeks that followed, higher-ups at the station instructed carriers to abandon hundreds of pieces of mail in order to depart a mere 10 or 20 minutes earlier. As the days went on, the excess mail started to pile up, and now Mark estimates there are thousands of undelivered letters and packages sitting in his station.

“The supervisors are cracking the whip, making sure we leave,” Mark told the Guardian. “Meanwhile carriers are walking by and saying, ‘Look at all this ******* mail we’re walking past, it’s just sitting there.’”

When Mark and his coworkers confronted the station manager he said he was only following orders from the new USPS postmaster general, Louis DeJoy. Since taking office in June, DeJoy has executed sweeping changes at the struggling US Postal Service, shaking up agency leadership and rolling out policies that have led to delays in mail delivery. These changes, which DeJoy has said are designed to cut down on labor costs, have angered advocates and Democratic politicians, who have accused him of trying to tamper with the election just weeks before millions of Americans start casting their ballots through the mail.

The exact same thing happened here and worldwide.

Mail is backing up here as well. Another *yawn* conspiracy......

Postman Leon Craig is busy. He says he is even busier than during the Christmas period, which is usually the most frenzied time of a postie's year.

Key points:
  • More Australians are shopping online during the coronavirus pandemic, with online department store purchases up 473 per cent
  • Australia Post chief executive Christine Holgate said lengthy delays were due to the grounding of much of the air freight network
  • Australia Post is retraining motorbike posties to deliver and process parcels
But unlike at Christmas, there is no end in sight.

"There's a lot more parcels compared to everything else. It used to be majority letters, but now it's parcels," the 22-year-old Victorian, who works in Warrnambool, said.

"Most people are understanding; I just tell them that we're working as hard as we possibly can."

As Australians stay at home, and with many bricks and mortar stores closed, it is no surprise there has been a huge strain placed on the postal service.

Australia Post is delivering about 1.8 million parcels a day. Online department store purchases are up 473 per cent, while fashion purchases have trebled (up 203 per cent).

A couple of years back we had a shake up of postal services and they took out the mailboxes everywhere.
It happened in most advanced economies.

The excuses for Trump after he publicly stating he was trying to stop Americans voting is starting to get bizarre.

I don't think anyone could have made this stuff up.

Quote where he says he is going to rip out mailboxes.

The bizarre thing is the dumb conspiracy theories still getting around.

If it makes the USA happier; Sydney North Shore Police response is pathetic.

Lazy sleepers; they are, through the night.

The bloke that donated 1.2 mil to Trumps campaign that Trump hired to do it said he was doing it, gets really weird that its actually happening in full sight IMHO.

*if* The Donald is trying to rig the election (and that's a *big* if), it would only basically bring the republicans back on equal terms with the corrupt democrats.

Perversely, it would make the election somewhat fair.

Sigh.....

No if, Trump has publicly stated the case.

That's after he said he wouldn't accept the result based on a false pretence (noted that you repeated) seriously you cannot make this stuff its just extraordinary.

How have the Democrats corrupted the election system? .........crickets.........

Before you answer look up the current depths of Republican gerrymander its mind boggling.

Just one example from 30 seconds on a search engine, Komrade.

Even the crickets are aware of stuff like this.

PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced today that Domenick J. DeMuro, 73, of Philadelphia, PA, a former Judge of Elections for the 39th Ward, 36th Division in South Philadelphia, has been charged and has pled guilty to a two-count Information charging (1) conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections, and (2) a violation of the Travel Act, which forbids the use of any facility in interstate commerce (here, a cell phone) with the intent to promote certain illegal activity (here, bribery). U.S. Attorney McSwain’s video statement providing additional details about this case is available on the Office website here: https://www.justice.gov/usao-edpa/v...ain-announces-guilty-plea-former-philadelphia.

So from that wayne you are telling us, with the above, that when voter fraud exists( even on small scale ) it's found out and exposed... Even you can get that far...
So; where no fraud has been detected on 'mail-in' voting in the last 150yrs???? we should now expect an avalanche of fraud.... on absolutely no evidence.
par for the course with your analytical capacities.

Thanks for your excellent analytical skills, orr.

...but as usual, you have missed pertinent points. Try again, bruh.

Haha actually Orr beat me to it I was going to suggest getting rid of ballot boxes as clearly they are a bigger risk than mail in votes :).

You know the same way Trump votes, mail in vote.

But seriously that's minor considering the current state of play with gerrymander.

But of course everyone knows and I mean everyone that Trump is trying to setup the rigged election claim once he loses.

I don't believe this sort of behaviour has ever existed in a US federal election it really has turned the US into a laughing stock world wide.

But more than that outside state actors know the seeds of division have been sown and the risks are real that they can / will incite further issues its really quite serious.

The allegations of widespread voter fraud by the Trump administration have no evidence.
It's more Trump BS.

Trump campaign fails to show evidence of vote-by-mail fraud, filing reveals
  • Documents obtained by Guardian shows evidence sorely lacking
  • Campaign complained of widespread fraud in Pennsylvania
Donald Trump’s campaign failed to produce any evidence of vote-by-mail fraud in Pennsylvania after a federal judge ordered it do so, according to a 524-page court filing obtained by the Guardian.

The order came from US district judge Nicholas Ranjan, a Trump appointee, earlier this month amid a lawsuit in Pennsylvania over several voting policies. The Trump campaign is suing to block the widespread use of official ballot dropboxes in the state in locations other than an election office, and to allow poll watchers to work in counties other than the ones they live in.

Comedian Sarah Cooper Mocks Trump's Attacks On Mail-In Voting At 2020 DNC

If so, I hope it's with his trademark smirk

I find it very hard to like people who smirk

Peter Costello had that look as well, not really fair to put him with Trump though is it.

I do think that was why PC never got to be PM
