Respect or lack thereof

Go out and commit a crime then put it on TikTok, have a laugh and show off you your mates.

What do you do with offenders who should be in school?

If they want to brag on TikTok , maybe they should be named and shamed on Tiktok, doing some community service perhaps.

Don't be silly they have rights, just ask them.

Sir R never will work, that would infringe on their "rights".

Well a bit more info on the low life's that bashed and robbed the elderly couple in their own home, while posing as police officers.

Looks like we could be heading towards societal breakdown if this sort of thing continues.

On the other hand, the media only publishes the bad news so maybe we are being conditioned to believe the worst.

It is getting pretty scary even here in Perth. We have seen some pretty alarming incidents here in Madland shopping centre. It's only a matter of time until something far more serious goes down.

Yes, we are a bit worried about those neathandal West Coast supporters.

Thing is, practically all of today's troubles were entirely foreseeable.

Selectively hearing one part of society whilst ignoring the rest.

Soft on drugs especially the ones that send people crazy.

Soft on violence, property damage etc.

Housing crisis and lack of hope for the future.

Raising kids without exposure to the realities of the real world.

Allowing immigrants from incompatible cultures who retain that culture (as distinct from migrants who seek to assimilate with Australian cultural norms and society).

Broad rejection of personal responsibility and accountability for anything at all.

Etc.

Is anyone surprised with the end result?

This begs the question why did they do it, then?

In a desire to create a more "compassionate" society, the right of the public to be protected was sacrificed. Courts became more concerned with the "rights" of offenders than for public safety or decency.

The road to ruin is paved with good intentions.

Yes, partly. At a deeper level there are more nefarious intentions. It's an open secret.
