Any nation that immediately goes on the defensive to shut down critique of its own society is doomed. Japan, Israel, Islamic countries, all exhibit these characteristics in the extreme.

That is what I like about ASF, some vigorous debate that is lacking in the general media by "fair dinkum" journalists in fear of their zionist masters.

Garpul Gumnut, you are smart enough to know that Israel can look after itself and already enjoys its own statehood.

The real question is your opinion on whether Palestine has a right to statehood which it currently does not?
