Hi

I want to use a portfolio administration service so that at year end I can give my accountant a simple tax report.

My financial adviser last week suggested http://www.praemium.com.au/
does anyone on here use this?

are their any other good value services available? its all automated which appeals to me.

Thanks

Hi

Hopefully you'll find this answer as it's quite some time after you posted.
I use praemium all the time for work (accountant). Many of our larger clients use praemium, and it really pays dividends at tax time when all you need to do is print out the reports.

For smaller portfolios this woulnd't be worth the annual fee. But for larger ones it is quite well worth it, especially when calculating capital gains, share rights issues, capital returns, code or name changes and takeovers.

You can even set up broker and bank links to automatically feed any changes into your accounts into the praemium portfolio. Make sure you check this off to your broker holdings statement at tax time though because sometimes errors slip though.

Overall i'd suggest to use praemium if your portfolio is getting out of hand and you cannot manage to do it all yourself.

If you have any more questions regarding praemium feel free to ask me, though you could probably give them a call as they are fairly easy to get hold of

Cheers
Brad
